This is what happened this Sunday afternoon in Plaça Sant Jaume in Barcelona when thousands of FC Barcelona fans gathered to celebrate the victory of the women's team in the Champions League when players and coaching staff offered the cup to the highest representatives of the Generalitat and the Barcelona City Council.
Outside, in Plaça Sant Jaume, fans waited for the players who had arrived by coach. It was at that moment when an 18-year-old woman and her mother reported that a man had masturbated in the middle of the crowd and that he ejaculated on the girl's back, as journalist Anna Punsí advanced and police sources confirmed to this media.
A group of agents from the Regional Area Unit of Operational Resources identified the suspect, about 30 years old, and after removing him they arrested him for a crime of sexual assault. He was taken to a van to wait for the square to empty after the celebration and then taken to the police station, while the victim and his mother filed the complaint. The action of the suspect, who intended to go unpunished by the crowd, tarnished the celebration of these fans.
