On Saturday, the 16th edition of the Andersberg Festival took place. Behind the event is Halmstad municipality's real estate company HFAB. Their purpose with the festival is to build integration.
"Halmstad is a segregated city and we want to tie it together," says Johan Björnqvist, urban developer at HFAB and project manager for the Andersberg Festival.
Madeleine Kelada Syhrén has lived in both the Söndrum district and the centre of Halmstad. She thinks that the view of Andersberg from the outside needs to change.
"You hear a lot about crime and that you can't live here. But as a parent, I only see opportunities," she says.
