"In the area of the Serebryansky forestry, units of the 67th mechanized brigade made three attempts to regain lost positions. As a result of artillery fire damage to the Center group of troops, the enemy suffered significant losses and retreated," Savchuk said.

According to him, the crews of the Buk-M3 and Tor-M1 anti-aircraft missile systems destroyed a HIMARS missile and a drone of Ukrainian militants in the area of the settlements of Rubizhne and Zhitlovka.

In addition, the aviation of the Center group launched missile and bomb strikes on strongholds, concentrations of manpower and fire weapons of the enemy in the areas of the settlements of Serebryanka, Kreminnaya, Chervonaya Dibrova.

According to Zybinsky, the aviation of the Zapad group launched missile and bomb strikes on temporary deployment points and areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment of the 14th and 92nd separate mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and on territorial defense units.

Drone attacks

The acting governor of the Smolensk region, Vasily Anokhin, said that two drones attacked fuel and energy facilities in the region.

"Today, at about 03:00, in the village of Peresna, Pochinkovsky district, and in the village of Divasy, Smolensk district, two long-range drones attacked objects of the fuel and energy complex," he wrote on Telegram.

He noted that there were no casualties or injuries as a result of the attack. Also, no critical damage or fires were recorded.

In addition, the head of the Kursk region, Roman Starovoit, said that the air defense system shot down several Ukrainian drones near Kursk.

Later, he clarified that during the UAV attack, the entrance of a multi-storey building and private houses were damaged. Starovoit stressed that no one was injured during these events.

Shelling of Donbas cities

According to the DPR representative office in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Issues Related to War Crimes of Ukraine (JCCC), over the past day, the formations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shelled the territory of the republic at least 84 times, using 575 units of various ammunition.

During the shelling, the enemy used artillery of 152 and 155 mm caliber, as well as multiple launch rocket systems. Several districts of Donetsk were under fire, as well as Gorlovka, Golmovsky, Yasinovataya, Novotroitske, Olginka and Vladimirovka.
