The Guardia Urbana of Barcelona has launched an investigation to clarify the accidental death of a 57-year-old man of British nationality run over last night by the Trambesòs, near the Diagonal Mar shopping center. The event coincided with the end of the first concert of Primavera Sound in the park of the Forum of Barcelona when the spectators of the performance of the band Pet Shop Boys left.
As in every fatal accident, the agents of the Accident Investigation and Prevention Unit investigate the causes of the accident. The emergency services went to the scene of the accident and the Barcelona City Council offered psychological help to the relatives who accompanied the deceased. It is the ninth fatality in a traffic accident in Barcelona so far this year.
