Personal data

From June 1, the rules for refusing to collect and post biometric personal data come into force.

A citizen of the Russian Federation, when visiting the MFC, may submit in writing a refusal to collect and post biometric personal data in relation to himself or the person whose legal representative he is.

New GOST of toothbrushes

From June 1, a new GOST will come into force in Russia, containing requirements for the quality of children's and adult toothbrushes.

According to the new requirements, the synthetic fiber in the brush bushes must be free of burrs, the bristles in the working part must be straight, and the presence of loose fiber there is considered unacceptable.

Labeling of goods

From June 1, Russia will expand the list of clothing and accessories that are subject to mandatory labeling.

Now digital identification will apply to tracksuits, jackets, trousers, blouses, shirts, jackets, coats, raincoats, windbreakers and faux fur products.

Cars

From June 1, all cars produced in Russia will have to comply with the environmental standard of a class not lower than Euro-2.

Also, from this day, the requirement for the mandatory installation of ERA-GLONASS modules will return. It will affect not only dealer cars, but also cars imported into the territory of the Russian Federation by individuals.

Issuance of biometric passports

From June 1, Russia will resume accepting applications for the issuance of biometric passports - with an electronic storage medium. The passport will be valid for ten years. The issuance of such documents was suspended in February.

Maternity capital

In June, the date of transfer of payments from the maternity capital will change, the Social Fund of Russia reported.

So, if earlier the money came in the 20th of the month, now a single day of payments will be established. At the same time, funds will be transferred not for the current month, as is currently the case, but for the previous one.

"Green Card"

From June 1, insurance certificates for car owners "Green Card" issued by Russia cease to be valid in the EU, Switzerland and the UK.

It is noted that drivers traveling in these countries on vehicles registered in the Russian Federation must purchase a border insurance policy of the corresponding country at checkpoints.

"For trips to other countries of the system, including Azerbaijan, Belarus, Moldova, Serbia and Turkey, Russian Green Cards are valid without restrictions," the Russian Union of Motor Insurers said.

Election

On June 9, a law comes into force that allows holding referendums and elections to state authorities and local self-government under martial law, if the decision on their appointment was made based on the results of consultations with the Ministry of Defense and the FSB of Russia.

It is noted that the law is aimed at giving citizens of the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions the opportunity to participate in elections.

From June 15, the list of goods for which parallel imports are allowed will be expanded. Such goods can be imported into the Russian Federation without the permission of the copyright holders.

Thus, a number of brands of motor oils and household appliances, cosmetics and perfumes, as well as toys, children's products and IKEA products have been added to the list.

Citizenship

From June 17, a legal mechanism will be launched, under which a Russian citizen with a Ukrainian passport will be able to apply for the cancellation of Ukrainian citizenship to the Russian internal affairs bodies. This can be done electronically on the State Services portal.

In this case, the renunciation of citizenship will be considered valid from the moment the document is submitted.

Support for the self-employed

From June 29, the self-employed and people providing services under civil law contracts will be able to register trademarks. Previously, this could only be done by legal entities and individual entrepreneurs.

"Trademarks are in demand among entrepreneurs. However, citizens who are not sole proprietors cannot register them. After the law comes into force, Russians will have an additional tool for the development of personal brands. The measure is important primarily for the self-employed - it will allow them to promote goods and services, "said Yuri Zubov, head of Rospatent.
