On a sunny Sunday evening in mid-May, the police were alerted to a shooting in Landskrona after loud bangs were heard and a man was lying on the ground. Later in the evening, police announced that a man in his 20s had died in hospital.

Police suspect that the perpetrator fled the scene on an electric bike.

"The perpetrator arrives at the scene of the crime on an electric bike. A dark bike, and the perpetrator is also wearing dark clothes and wearing a face mask, said Tina Anderberg, police chief in Landskrona, the day after the murder.

Two men have been arrested

This week, two men in their 20s were arrested on suspicion of involvement in the murder and they were requested to be remanded in custody on Thursday.

– One was arrested on Monday evening and a Tuesday morning, says Kenth Pehrsson, police officer at Serious Crimes in Helsingborg.

One man, who lives in Gothenburg, was detained on suspicion of murder. The other, a resident of Landskrona, who had been requested to be detained for aiding and abetting murder, was released on Thursday.

According to Kenth Pehrsson, the men are already known to the police.
