【Commentary】On May 5, the special external propaganda conference "The Story of the Communist Party of China - Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era in Hubei" co-sponsored by the International Liaison Department of the CPC Central Committee and the Hubei Provincial Party Committee of the CPC was held in Wuhan.
The theme of this special seminar is "Chinese-style Modernization: New Ideas, New Patterns", telling the story of the Communist Party of China on the new journey to the international community, and promoting the new practices and achievements of Hubei and Wuhan actively exploring to promote Chinese-style modernization. On the same day, more than 28 political party leaders or representatives from 170 countries attended the meeting offline, and the information conference was broadcast live to global political parties in English, French, Arabic and other languages.

Our main purpose is to deeply publicize Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and tell the story of the Communist Party of China on the new journey of the new era to the international community.

Wuhan is a very innovative city, and then like I mentioned before, so I think Wuhan is going to be a central area where we work together, and then maybe our cooperation will be in the manufacturing industry, like some of the areas that I see today about health, and automated production, and electronics, so I think these areas are going to be key areas for us, future cooperation.
Since 2017, the "Story of the Communist Party of China" special seminar has jointly held 12 local thematic publicity conferences with 15 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) in China, becoming an important window and channel for foreign political parties to understand China and the Communist Party of China.
【Commentary】This seminar is the most participant, highest-level and largest foreign affairs activity held in Hubei in recent years.
