He said that since May 25, heavy rain with hail and squally winds have been observed in the region.

On behalf of the head of the administration, an extraordinary meeting of the Commission for the Prevention and Elimination of Emergency Situations and Fire Safety was held in Rostov-on-Don.

"As a result, it was decided to conduct inspections of fastenings of advertising structures, roofs, gutters, as well as all sports structures that are in the public domain," Logvinenko said.

Earlier it was reported that the number of victims as a result of the collapse of the grandstand on the Rowing Canal in Rostov-on-Don increased to 36 people.
