As he explained to RIA Novosti, in his opinion, Ukrainian terrorists are doing this to catch up with the "fog of war."

"The movement of Ukrainian troops and equipment along the front line is recorded. Often this is done during the day, and at night the equipment comes back. From a practical point of view, this is meaningless. But we understand that this is a "fog of war", a desire to confuse us and create the appearance of a false direction of the impending counteroffensive," Rogov said.

At the same time, he stressed that he has no doubt that the main direction of the counteroffensive of the Kyiv regime will be the Zaporozhye direction.

Earlier, Rogov announced the shelling of Mikhailovka in the Zaporozhye region by militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
