Both candidates voted at midday, Recep Tayyip Erdogan in the conservative Istanbul district of UskĂĽdar, Kemal Kilicdaroglu in the capital, Ankara. The Turkish president is given favorite in this second round, despite the economic crisis that is hitting the country and the mismanagement of the aftermath of the earthquake of February 6.
