Rong Ying, vice president of the China Institute of International Studies, pointed out in his speech that achieving a peaceful settlement of the Ukraine crisis as soon as possible is the direction of China's consistent efforts. At the beginning of the crisis, China Convenience repeatedly called on the two sides to work with the international community to resolve disputes peacefully through negotiations and other diplomatic means, so as to avoid the escalation of confrontation and loss of control, resulting in more serious consequences. In terms of operations, China paid close attention to the humanitarian situation in the war zone, and while evacuating overseas Chinese, China also provided three batches of emergency humanitarian relief materials to the Ukrainian side.

Rong Ying said that the peaceful settlement of the crisis is the direction of China's efforts, and it also requires the joint efforts of all peace-loving forces in the world. A peaceful settlement of the crisis is the best solution for the two parties to the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, for Europe and for the world. Only by attaching importance to each other's legitimate security concerns and building a balanced, effective and sustainable security architecture through dialogue and consultation can universal and common security be truly realized.
