The Civil Guard has opened an investigation following the discovery on Saturday of the lifeless bodies of a woman and her 3-year-old son at a home in the municipality of Las Gabias (Granada), as reported to EFE by a spokesman for the Emergency Coordination Center 112 Andalusia.

The event took place around 9.15 am, when the alleged partner of the victim - who would be outside - alerted the 112 service of the Balearic Islands to warn of the alleged raid on his house, located on Arache Street, in the nucleus of Los Llanos-Los Chopos, belonging to the municipality of Las Gabias. The emergency coordination center then alerted the Civil Guard, the Police, the health services and the firefighters.

The latter proceeded to open the door of the house, where the lifeless bodies of a woman and her three-year-old son were located. At the moment, the circumstances of the event are unknown, for which the Civil Guard has activated the corresponding judicial protocol. The 112 has also indicated that it has no warning for possible fires in the aforementioned house.
