This was reported by the newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung, citing sources.
"The representative of the Chancellor does not want to comment on this, but the Federal Ministry of Defense confirms that Ukraine has requested Taurus," the publication says.
It is noted that the Taurus cruise missile is capable of flying 500 kilometers, that is, "from the Ukrainian border it is able to reach Moscow."
"Some fear that in case of urgent need, Kiev may arrange an uncontrolled escalation of the war," the newspaper said.
Earlier, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz spoke out against a possible freezing of the conflict in Ukraine.
He also said that Germany will support Ukraine for as long as it takes.
