The idea came five years ago when architect Anders Skog began sketching an art project – a male equivalent of the world-famous "The Little Mermaid" in Copenhagen.

"I hope that the tourists who visit the Mermaid every year somehow find out that there is a sea creature on our side of the strait and maybe make a day trip here. And of course the other way around," says artist Anders Skog.
