He made the corresponding statement during the forum "Support of Russia", TASS reported.

According to him, "plus 2.5 billion rubles of pure taxes" was received from the catering sector due to the so-called microtax maneuver.

Egorov noted that at the same time, the tax service sees catering companies that do not show revenue.

"We are far from the fact that we would very much like to open a chapter of tax control of the Tax Code in this part, but otherwise there will be unequal competition, so we will consider this the last Chinese warning," said the head of the Federal Tax Service.

According to the agency, since the beginning of last year, the catering sector has been exempted from paying value added tax, subject to a number of conditions.

Earlier, Egorov said that in Russia it is planned to change approaches to taxation of businessmen who are engaged in their business through specialized platforms.

It is assumed that such platforms will be able to perform agency duties to pay taxes themselves.

The Ministry of Finance of Russia previously reported that the personal income tax rate for departed employees working remotely will be the same: 13-15%.
