He said that when the city was under the control of Kyiv, all the men at his plant were given a condition - mobilization or dismissal. As a result, all the men resigned.

Now the former employee of the plant lives in a temporary accommodation center in the DPR, where there are 200 refugees from Artyomovsk.

Another resident of Artyomovsk said that the Ukrainian military killed two men and a woman:

"They checked the documents and asked the man why he was not serving in the army. He said he was disabled. They didn't like it, and they shot them with machine guns," he said.

On May 21, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that Artyomovsk had been completely liberated.
