The children in grades five and six at Bollnäs municipal schools have written their own horror stories through the project "creative school". The Moose from Hell and The Skeleton Man are some of the titles.

Vera Jeffrey in sixth grade tells her story The smell of cotton candy and blood, which is about a funfair with monsters:

"I read a lot of horror books, so I've gotten some inspiration from that," says Vera Jeffrey, 6th grade.

After workshops and lessons in horror, it's finally time for the students to tie the knot and publish their books about zombies, ghosts, evil dolls and scary schools.

– It feels a bit strange, it feels like a school work, but now it is a book that is in libraries, says Ida Moore, grade-6.
