In the park between the palace and the County Administrative Board, spectators had gathered to catch a glimpse of the King and Queen as they in turn watched a helicopter from the helicopter wing.
During the day, the King and Queen have done everything from listening to children's choirs to discussing with representatives of the municipalities of Östergötland.
Commenting on the security situation
When the King and Queen meet SVT, he comments on the security situation in Europe and emphasizes the importance of sticking together.
"I don't think there's anyone who doesn't want to do as much as they can. We can all do something," said King Carl XVI Gustaf about the war in Ukarina during his visit to Linköping today.
