In his opinion, this can happen in two ways. In the first case, there will be a "relatively slow erosion of Ukrainian statehood", which will lead to a complete loss of sovereignty. The second way is "an instantaneous collapse with the simultaneous annihilation of all signs of statehood."
Earlier, Medvedev said that no negotiations on Ukraine are needed at the moment.
