"He informed me that today he signed a decree on our actions to deploy nuclear weapons in Belarus ... We had to prepare storage locations and so on. We did it, so the movement of nuclear weapons has already begun, "TASS quoted him as saying.

He also admitted that non-strategic nuclear weapons are already on the territory of Belarus.

Earlier, the heads of the Ministry of Defense of Russia and Belarus signed documents defining the content of Russia's non-strategic nuclear weapons on Belarusian territory.

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said that the retaliatory measures of Moscow and Minsk in the military-nuclear sphere do not violate the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons.
