• Madrid Arrested a prisoner who was on leave for robbing five elderly women in Chamartín with the method of 'mataleón'

The Malaga Police have arrested a 26-year-old man in Malaga for sexually assaulting a woman who was immobilized using the martial arts technique called 'mataleón', in addition to causing injuries and stealing her mobile phone and smart watch.

The investigated, who lived as a squatter in a house in the center of Malaga, is in an irregular situation in Spain and, after fleeing the place, the victim was helped by a woman who was passing by, the Police reported Thursday in a statement.

According to the victim's statement, the assailant was walking next to her and, at one point, began talking to her until he grabbed her by the neck and threw her to the ground to sexually assault her and steal her phone and watch.

The police investigations showed that the aggressor would have followed the victim more than a kilometer until he got to his height and tried to maintain a conversation, to finally commit the aggression and robbery.

Four days after the events, the police managed to identify and arrest the alleged perpetrator, who was transferred to police stations and subsequently placed at the disposal of the judicial authority, which ordered his admission to an internment centre for foreigners.
