The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that 8 civilians, one of them in critical condition, were injured by Israeli occupation forces during their raid into Aqbat Jabr refugee camp, south of Jericho.

Israeli military vehicles stormed the camp from several sides, with snipers deployed on the rooftops of houses in the camp, and raided the homes of a number of citizens.

The Israeli occupation forces closed all entrances to the camp and prevented residents from entering or leaving it, as well as preventing medical vehicles from entering.

According to Israeli sources, the army is carrying out a military operation in the camp to arrest alleged wanted persons by the security services.

In Nablus, a Palestinian youth was injured by live ammunition and three others by bullet fragments.

The homes of the residents of Burqa village, north of Nablus, were raided by settlers who fired poison gas at the residents, causing dozens of people to suffocate with poison gas.

Settlers, under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces, attacked the homes of the Palestinians on the western side of the village and burned a sheep pen and olive farms.

The attack comes hours after a high-level European Union delegation visited the village, which strongly condemned settler attacks and the Israeli government's allowing settlers to return to the settlement of Homesh, which is built on land in the village of Burqa.

For months, the West Bank has been witnessing a significant escalation due to Israeli raids and arrests. In April, thousands of settlers, led by two Israeli ministers and accompanied by army units, took part in a demonstration in the village of Beita near Nablus demanding more settlements.

It is noteworthy that a 15-year-old Palestinian boy was killed by the Israeli army in Aqbat Jabr refugee camp.
