Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Ni'lin, northwest of Ramallah in the West Bank, in preparation for the demolition of the family home of the martyr Moataz Al-Khawaja, the perpetrator of the Dizengoff attack in Tel Aviv two and a half months ago.

Eyewitnesses confirmed that large forces of the occupation army, estimated at about 50 military vehicles, stormed the town at dawn on Tuesday, and surrounded the house of the martyr Al-Khawaja, and a number of neighboring houses.

The Palestinian news agency Wafa reported that the occupation soldiers stormed the house of the martyr Al-Khawaja and a number of neighboring houses and forced the residents to leave, in preparation for the demolition of the house.

According to eyewitnesses, clashes erupted between Palestinian youths and the Israeli occupation forces, who deployed in several neighborhoods of the town and fired live bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters at them, injuring one of them.

The occupying forces also deployed snipers on the rooftops and drones were seen overhead.

Al-Khawaja was killed on March 9 by Israeli police after carrying out a shooting attack in Tel Aviv that killed an Israeli and injured others, and his body is still being held by the occupation authorities.
