The accident happened around 12 o'clock. Three adults and two children were taken by ambulance to hospital.
According to Region Skåne, a 65-year-old man and a 75-year-old woman have suffered life-threatening injuries. A 6-10 year old boy is being treated for serious injuries and a man in his 30s was slightly injured. The injury status of the other child, a teenage boy, is still unknown.
A man deceased
On Sunday afternoon, it was announced that a 55-year-old man had died as a result of the accident. The man was travelling in the passenger car with the man who was slightly injured. The other four were traveling in the camper.
– The relatives have been informed, says Rickard Lundqvist, press spokesman at the police.
The accident occurred on Route 21, a so-called 2-1 road with a cable barrier separating the driving directions.
The road was closed off
The police have interviewed witnesses at the scene about how the accident happened and helped the emergency services with cordons during the carrying work.
The road was completely closed during the afternoon, but is now open again.
