Melendi has surprised his Argentine audience by revealing in the middle of the concert that he is going to be a dad again. The artist assured that "a week ago they gave me news, I'm going to have the third Argentine daughter", getting the public to be revolutionized by not expecting it at all.
The singer already has four children. Carlota, with Miriam Martínez de la Vega. Marco, with Dámaris Abad. And Lola and Abril, with the Argentine Julia Nakamatsu, who will also be the mother of his fifth child.
Melendi and Julia met on the set of the music video "La Promesa" and in 2019 they passed through the altar in the Castillo de Batres (south of the Community of Madrid, on the border with the province of Toledo), a Renaissance-style building with large gardens.
"Four is a good number," said the singer a couple of years ago in El Hormiguero talking about his children, but it seems that Melendi is happy with them being five.
