The Group of Seven (G7) summit was held in Hiroshima, Japan, from 19 to 21. On the 21st, the Japanese people held a rally near Shinjuku Station in Tokyo, holding signs such as "No G7", "No War", and "Against the G7 Full of Deception and Arrogance", strongly protesting the convening of the G7 Hiroshima Summit.

The organizers of the rally wrote in a propaganda material: "The G7 will only fuel war, poverty and environmental destruction, and we are protesting against the G7 in Tokyo. According to the organizers of the rally, in order to oppose the G7 Hiroshima summit, they had previously organized hundreds of people to march and protest in Shinjuku on the eve of the summit.

Noriko Kyogoku, who traveled from Kanagawa Prefecture to attend the rally, told reporters that it was not democratic for the G7 to bypass the United Nations and give orders to other countries. "The G7 seems to be standing on top of a mountain, making decisions on other national affairs in a condescending manner." She said.

Rally organizer Toshimaru Ogura said the G7 Hiroshima summit would not bring peace but would only exacerbate regional tensions. "It is contradictory that the Japanese government is saying that it will send a peaceful message to the world about the abolition of nuclear weapons through the summit, while seeking 'nuclear sharing' with the United States and relying on nuclear weapons to achieve 'national security'!" He said.

According to Kiriko Kyogoku, "The Japanese government's use of Hiroshima, which suffered atomic bombing, to hold the G7 summit completely goes against the wishes of the people of Hiroshima for peace. Kiogoku Noriko said that the collective visit of the G7 leaders to the Hiroshima Atomic Bomb Memorial Hall is just a political showman, and it is a political use of Hiroshima. She said that 2000 years after the Okinawa Summit in 23, Okinawa has not been "demilitarized" and military bases are still increasing.

Noriko Kyogoku said that Japan is constantly moving forward on the path of military expansion. Together with Japan, the United States is trying to create an "Asian version of NATO." The Japanese government, while claiming to oppose war, and on the other hand trying to expand militarily, would only go in the opposite direction to peace.

In addition, some protesters at the scene said that the G7 Hiroshima summit will not help solve the Ukrainian crisis. Ukraine has received a large number of weapons from the United States and the West, and if the conflict continues, there will be more victims in Ukraine and Russia.

Ogura believes that the G7 is a small group led by the United States. The "international order" advocated by the G7 is based on the previous colonial system, which is actually an international relationship that is beneficial to the United States and the G7. "The G7 Hiroshima summit has exacerbated regional tensions and is worrying." (End)
