A rich marine fauna and flora is spreading along the foundations of the Lillgrund wind farm, just south of the Öresund Bridge. This has now been filmed by divers in the project Havsresan who are currently diving in the area.

"We have seen lots of life and can equate it to an artificial reef," says Erik Skog, chairman of the association.

During the week, the association Swedish Coast and Sea Center dived in Öresund with the galeas Helene as its base in Malmö harbor. The purpose is to investigate pollutants, seabeds, emissions, pipes and other things that may be of interest to municipalities and companies.

Wildlife around the wind farm closest to the Öresund Bridge has also been investigated. They have filmed and documented a lush underwater fauna.

In the clip you can hear research leader Erik Skog and research engineer Kjell Andersson talk about their discoveries out in the Sound.
