With the use of long-range missiles and MLRS: the DPR announced more than 40 attacks by Ukrainian troops per day

Over the past day, the territory of the DPR was shelled 48 times by Ukrainian armed formations, which used 171 units of various ammunition.

According to the republic's representative office in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Issues Related to War Crimes of Ukraine (JCCC), the enemy used multiple launch rocket systems, MFOM AT2 missiles and 155 mm artillery.

Several districts of Donetsk, Mariupol, as well as Makiivka, Volnovakha, Gorlovka and Vladimirovka came under fire from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

As specified in the representative office of the republic in the JCCC, the enemy fired four long-range missiles at Mariupol.

A TASS source in the emergency services reported another shelling of Mariupol with long-range missiles, which occurred on Saturday morning, May 20. According to the agency, no one was injured as a result of these events.

As a result of the shelling of the DPR over the past day, two residents of Donetsk were injured. Also, as a result of Ukrainian shelling, 13 residential buildings and four civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged.

The head of the press center of the "South" group, Vadim Astafyev, said that the group's aviation attacked clusters of reserves of manpower and military equipment of the 112th separate brigade of the territorial defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and an ammunition depot.

As part of the counter-battery fight, a 120-mm mortar, a self-propelled artillery mount and a Grad MLRS combat vehicle were destroyed.

According to the head of the press center of the Center group, Oleksandr Savchuk, in the Krasnoliman direction, the assault and army aviation of the group attacked the concentration of enemy manpower and firepower.

In addition, bomber aircraft hit the points of temporary deployment and strongholds of the nationalists. In turn, the calculations of the Verba man-portable anti-aircraft missile systems destroyed the drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Along with this, the intelligence of the Center group revealed the movement of personnel on the equipment of the 81st Airmobile Brigade, the 58th Motorized Infantry Brigade and the 25th Airborne Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"As a result of the fire impact of the artillery units of the Center group, the enemy suffered significant losses in personnel and equipment," Savchuk said.

According to the head of the press center of the Vostok group, Oleksandr Gordeev, in the Yuzhno-Donetsk direction, the advanced units of the group, with the support of artillery, stopped the enemy's attempts to conduct reconnaissance in force.

Along with this, the calculations of the Acacia self-propelled guns destroyed one car and enemy manpower.

In addition, during the aerial reconnaissance, an accumulation of militants and equipment was revealed. Subsequent rocket artillery fire destroyed three infantry fighting vehicles, an armored personnel carrier, a combat reconnaissance and patrol vehicle and enemy manpower.

The head of the press center of the West group, Sergei Zybinsky, said that in the Kupyansk direction, artillerymen destroyed two mortar crews of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with fire from Msta-S and Msta-B howitzers.

Special forces units used Lancet loitering ammunition to destroy an air defense radar station and a mobile electronic warfare station.

Zybinsky added that along with this, three attempts to rotate units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were thwarted.

According to him, aviation attacked the concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment of the 14th separate mechanized brigade and territorial defense units.
