Michael Hallquist talks about the rules:

"When we knock on people's doors, we ask if they can 'secure the farm', if they say yes, we don't have to look there.

The hiding place must not be completely blocked, but it is enough that, for example, a window is not studded. Therefore, this evening there are some doors and windows in the village that are not locked, it is a red herring for those who are looking.
