Xu Jinming, a native of Kaohsiung, Taiwan, began to participate in cross-strait exchanges in 2013 when he was studying at National Chengchi University in Taiwan, and entered Peking University to pursue a doctoral degree after graduating with a master's degree. During his studies in Beijing, Xu Jinming enthusiastically organized and participated in cross-strait youth exchange activities while studying conscientiously. At that time, he was willing to use himself as a bridge connecting young people on both sides of the strait, and hoped that more young people in Taiwan would "see" more of the real mainland through this bridge.

When I was studying for a doctorate in Beijing, there were some cross-strait seminars, because I was a Taiwan compatriot, and then I was studying for a doctorate at the School of Peking University (International Relations), so I would be approached at some meetings, and then I would share my views at the meeting, and there were some other activities that helped Beijing Taiwanese students integrate into the local environment, such as going to the Great Wall, or going to the Anti-Japanese Memorial Hall, or going to see some historical monuments in Beijing.
Young students on both sides of the strait share the national sentiment of rejuvenating China, so every activity we do is aimed at promoting cross-strait economic and social integration and development, and to help Taiwanese youth better study, internship, employment and entrepreneurship in the mainland.

Xu Jinming said that with the support of the Wenzhou Municipal Taiwan Affairs Office and the Wenzhou Taiwan Youth Entrepreneurship and Employment Service Center, the association holds many activities such as Taiwan youth friendship, talent matchmaking meetings, summer internships in Wenzhou, and negotiation of entrepreneurial projects every year, with the purpose of allowing young people in Lu and Taiwan to have an in-depth understanding of the mainland and find employment and entrepreneurial opportunities in the mainland, especially Wenzhou. He believes that when young people from the Taiwan region come to the mainland for development, they should start from equal treatment and share the development opportunities of the mainland, and Taiwan youth should seize the opportunities through their own efforts.

Every year, the mainland and Wenzhou will hold promotion meetings or exchange meetings for employment, entrepreneurship and internship. In fact, these promotion meetings and exchange meetings are specially held for Taiwan compatriots, so with this opportunity, then Taiwanese youth themselves must also work hard, study hard, and then get a degree, take more certificates, then become a member of the cross-strait community of common destiny, you also need to put in enough effort yourself.
At present, the "Building Dreams in Wenzhou" Taiwan Youth Association has set up branches in Beijing, Shanghai, Wuhan, Hangzhou, Xiamen, Nanjing, Chengdu and other cities, and has promoted cross-strait salons in Taipei and Nantou, becoming a well-known group with vitality and influence on Taiwanese youth in the mainland. In Xu Jinming's view, Taiwanese youth who want to come to the mainland for employment and entrepreneurship can choose the path of 'visit-internship-employment-entrepreneurship', and their friendship will play a role as a "bridge", so that more young students in Taiwan can yearn for the mainland.
Finally, Xu Jinming also appealed to the vast number of Taiwan youths: Wenzhou and the mainland are the first choice for young people in the Taiwan region who want to break through and cherish ideals.
