This was told by a leading data researcher at Kaspersky Lab, Vladislav Tushkanov.
"There have been many cases when scammers created deepfakes to write posts on social networks with a link to a fraudulent page," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
Tushkanov noted that fraudsters also actively use neural networks in their work.
Earlier, lawyer Ivan Solovyov, in an interview with RT, warned against calls from scammers from the code 977 to transfer funds to the account.
Solovyov also said that telephone scammers continue to improve methods of deception. According to him, the new scheme applies to residents of the Far East, Siberia, the Urals, the Volga region and remote regions of the north-west of the country.
