EH Bildu is close to electoral victory in Vitoria, at least with the data collected by the Basque Government a few days before the controversy broke out over the presence of 44 convicted of links with ETA in the lists of the Abertzale coalition. The electoral survey carried out by the Executive of Urkullu gives the abertzale candidate Rocío Vitero 7 councilors, the same as Beatriz Artolazabal (PNV). Behind, the socialist Maider Etxebarria (6 councillors) and the 'popular' Ainhoa Domaica (5) maintain their options in the most disputed electoral scenario of the municipal and regional elections in the Basque Country.

Arnaldo Otegi decided to pose on Thursday hours before the start of the campaign in the Balconada de San Miguel aware that in Vitoria EH Bildu has serious options to be the most voted list. The survey conducted by the company Ikerfel with the responses of 728 Alava and 'cooked' by the Lehendakaritza anticipates that the candidates of PNV, EH Bildu and PSE-EE maintain a hard pulse with differences of less than three percentage points in the vote estimate.

According to the data of the survey of the Executive of the PNV, EH Bildu would lead in Vitoria to the nationalisas in direct intention of vote in just four tenths but its translation in estimation of vote would lower to favor the candidate Beatriz Artolazabal in more than one point in the estimation of vote.

The poll ratifies the advantage of the PNV in Bizkaia where Aburto would be close to the absolute majority with 14 councilors of the 29 that make up the municipal plenary. However, EH Bildu also constitutes a threat to Ortuzar's party in San Sebastian because the poll predicts that the PNV will obtain 10 councilors compared to the 7 of Izagirre (EH Bildu) but it also does so despite the fact that the direct intention to vote is greater for the Abertzale left than the vote estimate made by the Urkullu cabinet study.
