They themselves have friends who are moving aids and drive rubbish with the help of their A-tractors. In local Facebook groups, the services are also requested by private individuals.

However, the initiative has no legal basis. In Gävleborg County, a young person has been reported for not having a permit from the Swedish Transport Agency to engage in commercial traffic.

"Entrepreneurship that is stifled"

Eva Cooper, regional director of the Företagarna network, thinks that the young people's initiative is good and that there should be a change in the law.

"This is a typical example of entrepreneurship being suffocated before it has even blossomed. Young people should be able to get exempted from the square regulations to earn extra money in their spare time, she says.

See it as a complement

According to her, the initiative should be encouraged.

– I think it is very positive that the young people have taken the initiative for this and it shows an entrepreneurial spirit. We need more people to create companies and develop ideas and these regulations stop them. It gives a rather dull signal from the adult world.

Is there not a risk that this type of initiative will compete with other companies?

It is a small-scale activity, so it is rather a complement. Diversity of services and companies is positive. In recent decades, things have gone in the wrong direction. Today, there is a great deal of hassle, administrative burden and rules that hinder business ideas.
