Google announced a set of new artificial intelligence features within the "Google Developers A/O 2023" event (I / O 2023), where it added new language support to its chatbot "Bard" and easier ways to export text from "Bard" to various "Google" tools, in addition to tools for Google maps and photos, as well as devices and smartphones, the most important of which is the foldable "Pixel Fold" device.

"Bard" updates

Google said during the event that it has removed a queue for the use of the "Bard" system and made this system available in English in 180 countries and regions around the world, and will also add promising future features such as the creation of artificial intelligence images powered by the company "Adobe".

Bard was specifically developed to address programming errors, including debugging and explaining pieces of code in more than 20 languages.

The company will add more general uses to the chat model, making it clearer, with the ability to analyze and present images, and create visuals using artificial intelligence, a feature that will launch in the coming months.

Google says it will soon integrate Firefly, Adobe's artificial intelligence image creator, into Bard.

Although these new features collectively represent a major upgrade to "Bard", the company has not yet confirmed the nature of the Bard program, while stating that the robot is not a substitute for search yet, but that does not prevent people from using it as a search tool.

Google Photos

Google has unveiled a feature called Magic Editor that uses artificial intelligence to allow users to make large edits to an image without professional tools.

The company shared some examples of how Magic Editor works where it showed a picture of a woman in front of a waterfall, and the tool animated her entire image without affecting the background, while making the blue sky more beautiful.

In another image, Magic Editor moved a child on a seat closer to the middle of the image, creating new parts of the seat and balloons on the left to fill the space.

Three-dimensional paths in Google Maps

Google announced that the Maps application works to display roads in a way that facilitates understanding where we want to go, and the new feature was announced as Immersive View.

The all-round view feature provides a three-dimensional view of the place, adds information such as weather or traffic to give users a better idea of what's happening in that location, and helps better visualize the landmarks and buildings we might see as they move around somewhere new.

Google will also make it possible to see traffic simulations so we can understand what we might be dealing with on the roads.

As impressive as it sounds, we may have to wait a while to experience the comprehensive view of the roads, as Google says the feature will launch in the coming months, and will roll out in 15 cities.

"Pixel Fold". The "most durable" foldable phone

After years of making Android apps support foldable phones, Google unveiled Pixel Fold, its first foldable phone at the I/O conference, which will compete with Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold series.

The Pixel Fold appeared in a size of 5.8 inches, and a tablet size of 7.6 inches when opened, and includes a Google Tensor G2 processor and weighs 2 ounces, and has the "most durable hinge in foldable phones" and a battery that lasts 10 hours for normal use, and its price is at $ 24, and Google will offer with it a Google watch.

Google launched the Pixel 7A phone with a design that is not much different from its predecessor, but it included a faster screen with 90 Hz quality, wireless charging, a 64-megapixel main camera, in addition to a chip "Tenzor G2" and 8 GB of random access memory (RAM).

Pixel Tablet

Google talked during the conference about the Pixel tablet, which uses the same Tenzor G2 chip as the Pixel 7 and is up to 11 inches in size, and is equipped with 8 GB of random access memory (RAM).
