The politician also welcomed the decision of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to declare May 9 Europe Day in Ukraine.

Earlier, the head of the parliamentary faction of the ruling Servant of the People party, David Arakhamia, announced the accelerated adoption in Ukraine of a bill to postpone the celebration of Victory Day to May 8.

It also became known that Zelensky established May 9 as Europe Day in the country.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova called the Ukrainian president a new incarnation of Judas against the backdrop of his decision.
