The 2nd Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Cultural and Art Cooperation Summit opened in Guangzhou

Nearly 2 experts, scholars and literary and art workers from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area gathered together to promote the high-quality and high-level integrated development of the literary and artistic undertakings in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

With the theme of "New Positioning, New Opportunities, New Mission - Building a Humanistic Bay Area and Promoting Literary and Art Exchange and Cooperation", the summit was guided by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, co-sponsored by the Guangdong Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the Guangzhou Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and co-organized by the Hong Kong Member Association of the China Federation of Literary and Art Associations, the Macao Chinese Cultural Friendship Association and the Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Foshan, Huizhou, Dongguan, Zhongshan, Jiangmen and Zhaoqing Literary and Art Associations.

Explore a new platform for promoting cultural integration in the Bay Area

Since the official promulgation and implementation of the Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the cultural atmosphere of the Bay Area has been created through major cultural activities, joint research on key problems to create works with characteristics of the Bay Area, and extensive exchanges to create a cultural atmosphere in the Bay Area.

At the opening ceremony, Du Xinshan, member of the Standing Committee of the Guangzhou Municipal Party Committee and director of the Publicity Department, said that Guangzhou shoulders a new historical mission and era responsibility in jointly creating a cultural and artistic community in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and promoting the construction of the humanistic Bay Area. This summit will surely effectively promote the deepening of cultural and artistic exchanges and cooperation among cities in the Greater Bay Area, launch more high-quality literary and artistic products that lead the spiritual and cultural atmosphere of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and better tell the "story of spring" on the new journey of the Greater Bay Area.

The construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area has provided new opportunities, new themes and new spaces for the literary and art circles and artists in the cities in the Bay Area. Ma Fengguo, President of the Hong Kong Member Association of the China Federation of Literary and Literary Associations, introduced that the Hong Kong Federation will actively cooperate with partner cities in the Greater Bay Area to carry out more and more extensive cultural exchanges and cooperation projects, and continuously enrich and enhance Hong Kong's cultural soft power. The relevant person in charge of the Publicity Department of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee said that in the future, Guangdong will integrate the cultural and tourism resources of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, take the Literary and Art Boutique Creation Support Program as the guide, create more masterpieces with Lingnan characteristics and Bay Area style, continue to explore new ways and platforms to promote cultural exchanges and integration in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and promote the construction of the Humanistic Bay Area in depth.

The Summit deliberated and adopted the Interim Measures for the Development of Member Units of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Literary and Art Cooperation Summit, the Measures for Hiring Consultants at the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Literary and Art Cooperation Summit, and the Guiding Opinions on Building a Literary and Art Exchange and Cooperation Base in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

According to the "Interim Measures for the Development of Member Units of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Cultural Cooperation Summit", on the basis of the Guangdong Provincial Federation of Literature and Culture and the Hong Kong Member Association of the China Federation of Literary and Art Associations, the Macao Chinese Cultural Friendship Association, and the 9 Cities of Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Foshan, Huizhou, Dongguan, Zhongshan, Jiangmen and Zhaoqing as founding members, this summit has absorbed the Hong Kong Arts Development Council, Macao Foundation, Guangdong Chinese National Culture Promotion Association, Guangdong Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Cultural and Creative Industry Promotion Association, Guangzhou Nansha Cultural Association, Eight well-known cultural enterprises in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, including Guangzhou Kugou Computer Technology Co., Ltd., Guangdong Yongsheng Animation Co., Ltd., and Artron Culture (Group) Co., Ltd., were members and plaques were awarded to new members.

During the summit, the organizers also held the "Poetry Picture of the Bay Area in the New Era" poetry forum, inviting Ji Di Maga, director of the Poetry Committee of the China Writers Association, former vice chairman and former secretary of the Secretariat of the China Writers Association, Zhong Zhenzhen, professor and doctoral supervisor of Nanjing Normal University, and other famous poets to discuss the development prospects of poetry in the Greater Bay Area and promote the construction of Guangzhou as the "Poetry City".

The participants called for the establishment of the Secretariat of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Cultural and Art Cooperation Summit, the opening of a WeChat public account, the development of rich cultural and artistic activities in the name of the Summit, the establishment of the Summit Cooperation Fund, and the construction of a project cooperation platform to provide institutional and financial guarantees for the literature and art in the Bay Area, and further enhance the visibility and influence of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Literary and Art Cooperation Summit.
