The death of Sheikh Mohammed Khalil al-Qari, less than a year after the death of his brother Sheikh Mahmoud Khalil al-Qari, the two sons of the late reciter Khalil al-Qari, who died in 2018.

Sheikh Mishari Rashid al-Afasy said, "The house of the Qur'an is next to his Lord, yesterday Sheikh Mahmoud Khalil al-Qari, the imam of the Prophet's Mosque and the Qiblatain Mosque, and his father, the sheikh of the sheikhs of the Two Holy Mosques, our sheikh Sheikh Khalil al-Qari," said Sheikh Mishari Rashid al-Afasy.

who was assigned two years to lead Taraweeh prayers at the Prophet's Mosque, died today.
A year earlier, his brother Mahmud died (he was also assigned to lead the Prophet's Mosque).
Five years earlier, their brother, Ahmed, a well-known reader, had died.
