Nanning, May 5 (Zhongxin Net) -- On the evening of May 7, the China-ASEAN Classical Folk Song Symphony Concert was held in Nanning, Guangxi. Orchestras and singers from China and ASEAN countries performed together to interpret classic folk songs from China and ASEAN countries.

The concert selects a number of representative and influential songs in China and the ten ASEAN countries, and interprets them through symphony and various art forms, with the theme of "March 3 - Silk Road Symphony", presenting the audience with a delicate, style, aesthetic concert rich in ASEAN cultural characteristics.

The whole concert is divided into the first and second half. In the first half, the symphonic fantasia "Gexian Liu Sanjie" kicked off the concert, and the Guangxi Symphony Orchestra and the Malaysian National Symphony Orchestra formed a mixed orchestra, forming a three-dimensional surround sound field with a "quasi-three-pipe" large-scale performance lineup, presenting the audience with a magnificent listening experience. Classic Chinese folk songs such as "Jasmine", "Tea Picking Song" and "Youth Dance" have been recreated and harmonious and have unique flavor. Subsequently, singers and orchestras from Myanmar, Thailand, Indonesia and other ASEAN countries performed ASEAN folk songs such as "Seagull", "Acacia Riverside" and "Beautiful Solo River", setting off a wave of exotic styles on the spot; The first half of the concert ended with a magnificent orchestral excerpt from "The Maritime Silk Road" "ASEAN Picture Scroll".

In the second half of the concert, the Vietnam National Song and Dance Theatre and the Guangxi Symphony Orchestra performed the bamboo concerto "The Call of the West Plains", and the Singapore Ding Arts Troupe and the Guangxi Symphony Orchestra performed "Singapore Capriccio" in the clouds, allowing more people to understand the romantic customs of ASEAN countries through music, a universal language that transcends national borders. ASEAN songs full of ASEAN style, such as "Gathering Together", "Song of Champa Flowers" and "Let the World Know", were presented with great enthusiasm, which won applause from the audience. The concert ended with the classic Guangxi folk song "Thank You".
