The European Commission's Directorate-General for Enlargement and Neighbourhood is providing a €3 million grant to "strategically inform" about the European Union and Albania's EU accession process.

According to the document, the purpose of the closed tender is to raise public awareness of the EU in Albania and to finance the House of Europe in Tirana "as a platform for communication events in the political, economic, social and cultural spheres."

Based on the description of the contract, for the implementation of the program, European specialists intend to launch the production of advertising, propaganda and information films and videos in Albania.

The objectives of the program must be completed within two years, the document says.

Earlier, the European Commission sent € 2 million to "explain" the process of joining the EU to the inhabitants of Serbia.
