The football season started just over a month ago. Notviken has had to spend that period inside Arcushallen. But during Walpurgis night, the association had enough and gathered strength to shovel the snow away from Tunavallen's artificial turf.

"Of course you miss playing at home. I have never experienced so much snow this late in the spring, says organizer and Notviken's coach, Daniel Engberg.

Children and young people also wanted to help. 13-year-old Svante Rúnarsson has missed playing football outdoors.

"Of course I want to help. Football is the best thing in life," he says.

"For the children"

For Daniel Engberg, the initiative is not about where his team should be able to train, but rather that the children should get started with football again.

"Partly that they get a training plan, but also so that they can spontaneously play sports again, that's the main reason why I started this," he says.
