With the accelerated construction of the Shenzhen-China Corridor, the integrated development of the east and west banks of the Pearl River has entered the fast lane. At the same time, behind the construction of the Shenzhen-China Channel, the "smart" services of the maritime sector provide a solid guarantee for the construction of the project.

Connectivity to promote the integrated development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area

The Shenzhen-China Corridor is the core hub project of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and also a direct passage connecting the two economic circles of Guangdong "Shenzhen, Dongguan and Huizhou" and "Zhuhai, Zhongshan and Jiangmen".

On the west side of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor, the construction of the Nansha-Zhongshan expressway is also accelerating, which will be completed and opened to traffic at the same time as the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor, adding new options to the half-hour traffic circle between Zhongshan and Guangzhou Nansha and Shenzhen.

At present, Shenzhen and Zhongshan are promoting the interconnection project with the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor, and the cross-city buses, new airport bus lines, and cross-city water passenger transport system between Shenzhen and China will gradually promote the implementation after the completion of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor.

The "hard connection" of transportation infrastructure has accelerated, and the "soft connection" of industry has also deepened. Just last month, Zhongshan Cuiheng New Area issued invitations to Shenzhen enterprises with a newly built 30,200-mu industrial park and <> million square meters of industrial space, and successively collected more than <> investment intentions, with a total investment of more than <> billion yuan.

Li Xuelin, Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of Zhongshan Cuiheng New District: Focusing on the industrial positioning of our new district, we have introduced a number of industrial projects that integrate and develop with Shenzhen's industries, mainly health and medicine, new energy, high-end equipment manufacturing, a new generation of information technology, modern service industries, and intelligent networking.

The acceleration of industrial integration is inseparable from the improvement of the business environment. At present, the "cross-city office" of government services in Shenzhen and Zhongshan has realized more than 400 government service matters in the fields of production and operation, talent services, etc. Ms. Xu is an employee of a data technology company in Zhongshan, which has subsidiaries in Shenzhen and other places. In the past, the change of social security information of the Shenzhen subsidiary required her to go to Shenzhen to handle it, but now she does not need it.

Ms. Xu: In the past, you needed to go to the government service hall in Shenzhen to handle this matter offline, but now with the "Shenzhen-China General Office", you don't need to go to Shenzhen, you can also handle it in our Zhongshan Hall.

At present, the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor, the Huangmaohai Cross-Sea Corridor under construction and the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, Nansha Bridge and Humen Bridge that have been operated have built a magnificent cross-sea and cross-river channel group in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area on the Pearl River Estuary and jointly promoted the interconnection of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Li Jing, Chief Planner of Guangdong Provincial Department of Transport: The construction of major projects such as the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor not only injects strong development impetus into Shenzhen and Zhongshan, the two cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, but also helps to promote the efficient allocation of various factors on the east and west sides of the Pearl River Estuary, break through the current situation of unbalanced development between the east and west coasts, accelerate the industrial transfer of the west bank to the east coast, and jointly promote the interconnection and coordinated development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Smart maritime services escort the construction of the deep-middle channel

The "smart" service of the maritime department has provided a solid guarantee for the safe and smooth construction of the Shenzhen-Middle Passage by how to minimize the impact of multiple busy waterways in the Lingding Ocean area.

In the past few days, steel box girder welding is being carried out on the Lingdingyang Bridge of the Shenzhen-Middle Passage, and in order to ensure the safety of passing ships, the Guangdong maritime department has set up control areas upstream and downstream to strengthen cruising.

Long Zixuan, captain of the Sampanzhou Coastal Patrol Law Enforcement Brigade of the Shajiao Maritime Department in Guangzhou: We dispatched five coastal patrol vessels to form a rectangular physical defense cordon, centered on the operating waters, to avoid fishing boats and small cargo ships from accidentally entering the construction area and causing potential safety hazards.

The Shenzhen-Zhongshan Passage crosses the main channel of Lingdingyang and is an important passage for ships entering and exiting the Pearl River estuary such as Guangzhou Port and Zhongshan Port, and the maritime department often has to dynamically adjust the escort plan according to changes in construction progress.

Gao Guohui, Deputy Director of the Government Affairs Center of Guangdong Maritime Safety Bureau: The Lingdingyang Channel is one of the busiest waterways in China, with an average of more than 4000,<> ships per day, and the shorter the closure time, the smaller the impact on the local economy.

Through the joint construction of the information center, the maritime department and the builder introduced eight information systems, including sea scene information, navigation beacon telemetry remote control, immersed tube floating installation and navigation, etc., to realize the intelligent, convenient and visual safety management of 8 construction areas and 14 waterways, and provide intelligent services for the construction of the Shenzhen-Middle Channel.

Gao Guohui, Deputy Director of the Government Affairs Center of Guangdong Maritime Safety Bureau: We have now adopted some control measures to close shipping, reducing the operation time of a single occupation channel from 9 hours to 5 hours, gradually relaxing the speed limit for ships from 10 knots to 12 knots, and shortening the speed limit period of social channels from 45 days to 30 days.

Up to now, the maritime department has completed more than 900 maritime traffic organizations for the construction of the Shenzhen-Middle Passage, and dispatched more than 2000,<> ships and boats to ensure the safe and smooth construction of the Shenzhen-Middle Passage.
