The Investigative Committee of Russia announced this in its Telegram.
"During the interrogation, Elena Blinovskaya repented of what she had done and fully admitted her guilt," the statement reads.
As part of the preliminary investigation, investigators of the Moscow Investigative Committee will identify persons who informed the accused about the investigative secrets protected by law.
Earlier it was reported that the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case against Blinovskaya on the fact of tax evasion and money laundering on an especially large scale. Later it became known that she was detained while trying to leave the country.
An RT source clarified that Blinovskaya was detained near a forest in the Smolensk region when she tried to cross the border with Belarus in a luxury car.
According to reports, on the eve of her detention by law enforcement officers, Blinovskaya talked about her success at the Amoconf business forum in Moscow.
