At the same time, the Foreign Ministry believes that the problem is not a lack of plans, but the fact that the Kyiv regime either demonstrates rejection of any sensible initiatives or sets conditions with unrealistic demands.

"The Ukrainian authorities and their Western curators have already demonstrated their ability to wrap up peace initiatives," said Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova.

So, in the spring of 2022, almost ready-made peace agreements were suddenly rejected by Kyiv, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky legally banned any negotiations with President Vladimir Putin.

"Thus, any calls for peace can hardly be adequately perceived by puppets controlled from Washington," she said in a statement.

On April 26, Chinese President Xi Jinping had a telephone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

According to Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, Kiev is ready to discuss any peace plan that does not lead to the freezing of the conflict and does not provide for the surrender of territories.
