The Prime Minister will unveil at midday following the Council of Ministers, the roadmap of the "100 days of appeasement" launched on April 17 by Emmanuel Macron during his televised address. The host of Matignon has a mission now: to try to revive the five-year term, heckled since the pension reform.

To turn the page on the pension reform, Emmanuel Macron announced three priority projects last week: work, justice and republican order. But also, the government wants to start a project of public services, encompassing schools and health. It was up to Elisabeth Borne on Wednesday to explain how she intends to go about it during these "100 days of appeasement and action", during the presentation of her roadmap after the Council of Ministers.

Speculations for Matignon

Which method? What legislative and regulatory timetable until the milestone set by the President on July 14? The Prime Minister must convince, try to make the government programme legible... Even if the political crisis is still not resolved. Because in the absence of an absolute majority in the Assembly, the unknown remains on the ability of the executive to adopt sensitive texts. Foremost among which: the asylum and immigration law, supposed to "toughen our rules" on deportation while improving integration.

Elisabeth Borne may therefore have no choice but to draw a 49.3 again; although she said a few days ago that she no longer wanted to use this constitutional weapon outside the budget texts.
