A taxi driver in Barcelona has recorded with the camera installed on the dashboard what seems a new form of theft.
One of the thieves runs across the street and, helped by another from the other side, they deploy and lift a rope that crosses the road.
When the vehicle stops, a large group of people approaches from the right and another young man comes running armed with a knife.
The intention, denounce the taxi drivers, is to crack the wheels and then board the vehicle together and steal the collection.
In the case of this video, the driver, who was carrying a customer in the taxi, became suspicious of the young men and did not stop the car. So he saved the sense of smell of someone who is used to working at night.
But there is concern that other, more confident drivers will fall into the trap. It is the first time that a theft of this type has been detected in Spain, according to the Elite Professional Association of Barcelona.
