The attraction of a huge dragon at the Disney theme park in Anaheim (California), caught fire Saturday night without leaving injuries.

The flames, whose origin is still being investigated, started at the dragon's head in "Fantasmic!" and spread throughout the structure.

The visitors, according to Disneyland, were evacuated from Tom Sawyer Island, where the show is presented.

"We saw some small explosions coming out of the head, and then, suddenly, the whole dragon was swallowed, and then a worker started to go out escorting everyone for safety," a visitor to the park told ABC.

The Fantastic attraction, about 13 meters high, debuted at Disneyland in 1992 and is presented twice a night on Tom Sawyer's Island.
