"High-intensity hostilities": the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation told about the displacement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the central quarters of Artemovsk

Assault squads of the Wagner PMC are conducting "high-intensity combat operations" to oust the Ukrainian military from the central quarters of Artemovsk in the Donetsk direction, the Russian Defense Ministry said. Airborne units provide support to the attack aircraft on the flanks, blocking the transfer of reserves and the possibility of enemy retreat.

At the same time, the aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces made 12 sorties, missile troops and artillery of the group performed 57 fire tasks in the area of Artemovsk.

In addition, the strikes of operational-tactical aviation, missile troops and artillery fire of the Southern Group of Forces affected the accumulation of manpower and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Kalinovka, Nikolaevka and Stupochki.

In turn, adviser to the acting head of the DPR Yan Gagin on the air of the TV channel "Russia 24" said that the grouping of Ukrainian troops in Artemovsk is almost completely blocked.

"The enemy has been pushed to the western outskirts of Artemovsk, now there are fierce battles there," TASS quoted him as saying.

According to him, ukrainian fighters, due to the inability to retreat and unsuccessful attempts by the Armed Forces of Ukraine to deliver food and weapons to them, have little choice: to die or surrender.

According to RT, the total number of the Ukrainian group inside the city quarters of Artemovsk may be just over 6 thousand people. At the same time, about 30 thousand Ukrainian militants are either dispersed in the nearest suburbs (Khromov, Krasny, Stupochka, Bogdanovka and Minkovka), or withdrawn from Artemovsk for re-equipment and rearmament in the neighboring Chasov Yar.

Situation on the areas of the SVO

The official representative of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation also said that the total losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Donetsk direction per day amounted to up to 300 Ukrainian servicemen, one infantry fighting vehicle, six armored fighting vehicles, two cars, a D-20 howitzer, as well as a self-propelled artillery installation "Gvozdika".

In the Kupyansk direction, more than 35 soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, two cars, as well as a self-propelled howitzer "Gvozdika" were destroyed.

In the Krasnolimansky direction, strikes eliminated up to 80 Ukrainian militants, two armored fighting vehicles, as well as a D-20 howitzer. In addition, a warehouse with ammunition of the 66th Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the village of Nevskoye (LPR) was destroyed.

In the Kherson direction, up to 35 fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, two armored fighting vehicles, as well as a self-propelled howitzer "Gvozdika" were destroyed.

Air defense assets shot down six Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles during the day and intercepted nine rockets of the HIMARS multiple launch rocket system.

"Only Russia's victory in the SVO will ensure the security of the country"

Russia has no other way but to free Ukraine from neo-Nazism. This was stated by the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Nikolai Patrushev at a meeting on security issues in the North Caucasus.

"Only the victory of Russia will ensure the security of our country, will contribute to the return of stability in Europe and the formation of a multipolar world," he said.

According to him, the collective West, under US pressure, continues to pump the Kiev regime with weapons, actively conducts military training of neo-Nazis and helps plan military operations. This does not take into account any losses, since hostilities are not conducted on the territories of NATO countries.

"Ukraine has become another victim of the manifestation of obsessive and aggressive activities of American politicians. In turn, presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that the degree of NATO involvement in the conflict in Ukraine has increased, but this will not affect the positive outcome of the SVO for Russia.
