"If we are talking about the fact that instead of interaction on the principles that I mentioned, Western countries will try to engage in threats, blackmail, will force our allies to undermine relations with the Russian Federation to the detriment of their own national interests, then, of course, we will not hide our attitude to such attempts," Lavrov said at a press conference following talks with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu. His words are quoted by TASS.

Lavrov noted that Moscow advocates that all multilateral structures and countries of the Eurasian continent should be part of the process of a wider integration contour mentioned in the new Concept of Russia's Foreign Policy.

The head of the Russian Foreign Ministry earlier said about the open work of the West against Russia in the CIS.

On April 14, Lavrov will take part in a meeting of the foreign ministers of Russia and Central Asia - Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. It is noted that the meeting will be held in Samarkand.
