The return of Holy Week has marked the launch of Isabel Díaz Ayuso's campaign for the 28-M elections with the intention of repeating the large majority she garnered in 4-M. And for this, the president of the Community of Madrid, in her first act of pre-campaign, has entrusted herself again to the tax cuts that have marked the four years of her Government.

During a breakfast of New Economy Forum at the Ritz Hotel in Madrid, the popular leader has promised a new reduction of half a point in the Income Tax for Individuals for the next legislature that will be included in the electoral program for future elections and that will be added to the half point approved in this mandate.

"Tomorrow, April 11, the 2022 Income Tax campaign begins, and thanks to our autonomy, the people of Madrid will be able to notice in their declaration the drop of half a point in all the sections of the IRPF that we approved in 2021", said Ayuso, who has set "the extra savings" at 334 million euros. "Since I am president of the Community of Madrid, citizens have saved more than € 23,000 million, which means € 6,700 per taxpayer," she added.

But, beyond the fiscal issue, the regional president has focused the shot on two issues: Vox voters and criticism of the central government. The regional president has accused Pedro Sánchez of launching "Chavista homilies" and of "campaigning" against herself and against the president of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, who has presented the Madrid leader, "with all the power of his government and its activists".

Ayuso has also put the vice president, Yolanda Díaz, at the center of his speech, after the recent launch of his platform Sumar, which he has described as a "populist ultra-left dressed in white that whispers with childish words to the poor that she herself provokes with her decisions". "Yolanda Díaz has dedicated herself to manufacturing a reality that does not exist by changing the way of counting unemployed and contracts. 53% of the contracts signed in March were permanent discontinuous or part-time. In other words, temporary employment. That is to create poverty, "said the president of the Community, who added that "the Spanish self-employed are paying for it"

"

Neither the self-employed nor the new generations will be able to face the billion and a half of debt that the Sánchez-Yolanda Díaz factory has created. Without structural reforms in a country where that debt and the demographic winter will put at risk the maintenance of the public system, "said the popular leader, who has also addressed the voters of Vox, a fundamental sector to approach the desired absolute majority for the popular.

"I want to address the voters of VOX, those who left the PP because they did not feel that the PP dealt with the great debates, beyond good management. The Government in Madrid has shown two things: first, that our project has given all the battles and has taken the political initiative in everything important, "said Ayuso, who pointed out that his Government has been right "in when, where and how". "If not, you end up losing your mind, citizens become disillusioned, and the enemies of Spain, family and freedom become stronger," he added.

The president has asked those Vox voters to give her their vote to be "effective" as opposed to the radical right formation. "I invite you to get it right, trusting in this project at the service of Madrid and Spain. A project that makes them feel at home, a common home, open, cheerful, and dignified, in which things work, "he concluded.

During the presentation of Ayuso, the national president of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, has highlighted "the difficulty" of undertaking this task for "the security that his entire speech will be analyzed in detail" by presenting "the maximum exponent of one of the two souls of the party". An issue that the former leader of the Xunta de Galicia has blamed on "rumors" of "members of the central government". "You can see that 22 ministers have nothing better to do," he said.

Feijóo has defined the president of Madrid as "a woman who above all things is brave in what she does and what she says", who "has given the battle of ideas" and who "has taken advantage of her time in the Government to do something as exotic as governing". "If there is something that we who are on the center-right should not neglect, it is the battle of ideas and it does not do so in the face of the temptation of other ideologies," he insisted.
