"I must resign myself to the fact that my health unfortunately does not allow me to continue to meet you for the moment," he wrote to his fans, in a message broadcast on Twitter.

The 38-year-old singer, who has previously suffered from depression, did not specify the medical reasons for these new cancellations that concern 15 show dates across Europe.

Currently on a European tour to promote his album "Multitude", released a year ago, he had already canceled six concert dates in the last two weeks.

"I share this news with you with great regret and deep sadness, but I owe it to myself to listen to my limits," he said Tuesday.

"Surrounded by my family, I have to take the time to recover to resume, when I can, the rest of the concerts," he explained.

"I hope to give you more positive news as soon as possible. I look forward to seeing you again to finish this tour," added Stromae.

The artist had returned to the stage in the summer of 2022 after a long period of absence caused by depression, escorted by "suicidal thoughts" that he had narrated unvarnished in his title "Hell".
